In-Finite In Transit
20 till the 26th of July / 1, 7 and 9 pm daily
The best thing about London summers are parks full of friends. We’ll joining you in a few days in spaces around Kensington and Chelsea as the largest contributor to InTRANSIT Festival with a whopping 21 performances!
It’s free, kindly funded by The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, making it a great way to show those people you’ve always tried to get into a theatre just how fun contemporary dance can be.
We’re dancing in the streets – real stories by the residents, workers, and visitors of Kensington and Chelsea. As you explore the hidden places of the borough you’ll discover the secrets and the hidden stories people have never spoken aloud. In seven different guided walks you’ll feel the flux of these secret sensations unfolding: fun, quirky, melancholy and so much more – all as different as the surroundings. We’re dancing people’s private lives – come take a peek – and perhaps share your own…
Coming? Let us know on twitter @IJADdance because, as always, we’re keen for the conversation to merge into the digital world and will be talking about our digital vision half an hour before each performance as well as giving some hints and tips about using twitter as part of an audience – so get there early and meet the team.
